We use a lot of LP Smartside on our projects, it’s the perfect material for the unpredictable climates of Northern Michigan as it will stand up to nearly anything…

There are a few keys to your install that need to be followed to maintain your warranty, al of which our teams follow to ensure your home is covered for a very long time!

Every cut must be painted over to prevent water incursion, keeping water out and sealing the cut edges.

It must also keep a 6 inch clearance from the finished grade to prevent extended contact with heavy water.

Just a couple of steps that are critical for you home!

Erica gives us a quick lesson on considerations that need to be made when putting an active window into a space that will have tile, stone, or any other material that will build up the height of the jambs.

All of this needs to be planned out in detail as you may have 2-3 subcontractors working on that space and any number of issues can arise if the plan isn’t followed and it all starts with a plan from the Design team!
