Our clocks are about to make like a leaf and “fall” back, but there are a few DST myths you shouldn’t fall back on.

Symptom: Middle spring would not wind with the key.
The issue: The middle spring came loose from its attachment point.
The solution: Dismantle the clock, reattach the spring, oil, and readjust clock.

Helpful Hint: Manually winding in the wrong direction can create problems for the spring(s) and gears.

Bonus Helpful Hint: Have your clock oiled by a professional every 2 - 3 years. NOTE: SOME parts should NOT be oiled.
