🐻🍯 Community Collaboration Spotlight 🍯🐻

A huge thank you to Action Wildlife Foundation for thinking of us during their museum renovation and generously supplying this amazing stuffed bear! It’s already becoming a fantastic hands-on teaching aid here at Mikes Beehives LLC.

While this bear may look cuddly, it helps tell a very real story for beekeepers: bears and skunks are of the most destructive threats to unprotected hives. One curious bear can wipe out years of hard work in a single night. As a community of beekeepers, family and friends let us come up with some name options for these 2 fuzzy friends of Mikes Beehives.

That’s why we always remind beekeepers—an electric fence is an option, it’s essential. Proper protection keeps bees safe, hives intact, and wildlife from developing dangerous habits.

We’re grateful to work alongside organizations like Action Wildlife Foundation that share our passion for education, conservation, and coexistence. Go check out their incredible work and museum—you won’t be disappointed!
