It has been quite some time since you’ve heard from us here at Red Barn. We are working on bringing you up to date on some projects we’ve worked on.

It's been a busy couple of months here at red barn Starting out with a tabletop for some old clients. And some very large biltin's shipped out for paint, And then off to a new house in brunswick , Along with some really nice custom red Cedar brackets for the front porch.
Then we switched gears into this custom red oak wardrobe cabinet. The bottom half anyway, the top half is in production now. This piece went to a home addition in yarmouth.(Thanks Gil!)
Next a batch of custom cherry doors with an Ogee profile. These are off to a kitchen remodel in Brunswick.
In the last picture is a pair of custom shaker style ash doors.that was a rush order and we turned it around in one day.... We love the challenge of a custom order!

So we are finally finished! 6 weeks on and off for one of the most demanding jobs we've ever done here at Red Barn. A production run of interior doors, 6 panel doors in various sizes, Constructed from solid white ash with no plywood whatsoever. Pre hung in shop built Ash jambs with oil rubbed bronze hinges. Close to 200 parts and pieces. 500 holes, for 250 plus dowels. We're very happy with the way they came out and hopefully our client will be too!

We just made 4000 pounds of Ash into 3000 pounds of Ash. Just some of the several 100 parts required for this production run of interior doors. And not cabinet doors, I wish! But full size 6' 8, solid Ash 6 panel , raised both sides .No plywood. all solid wood, Hung in jams, and delivered to the jobsite..... Quite an ambitious job for us here at red barn. Follow along for our progress in the upcoming weeks!
