To our customers -
Two years ago Ryan and I decided to go out on a limb and see if we could be successful in creating and building furniture. To say we succeeded is an understatement in our eyes. W Design was chosen as one of the finalists for the Topeka Top Tank Competition - what? We participated in the 2018 Topeka Designer Showhouse, an experience that was simply incredible to be apart of. We designed and built 10+ farmhouse inspired tables that will be in homes and families for years to come. Nightstands, end tables, console tables, desks, chairs, and countless other items that you all have dreamed up and let us be apart of. We have enjoyed every single project, and we feel truly blessed to have worked with every single one of you. You ALL have supported our small dream and turned it into a HUGE reality.
As 2019 begins we wanted to take some time and make you all aware of the direction W Design is headed. You all have been so patient with us as we took a several month hiatus towards the end of last year. As a family we did some reflecting on what is important to us. Our customers have kept us busy - and it’s been great, but it has left little time to spend as husband and wife, as mom and dad, as daughter, son and friend. We thought long and hard about how we could make this little side gig work with our real, grown up jobs and it seems it just isn’t feasible anymore. W Design will no longer be taking custom orders. BUT we can’t just walk away from this cold turkey. We will periodically (a few times a year) open ourselves up for limited custom orders. However we will be pickier with what projects we choose to take on. We will still be on Facebook and Instagram with DIY’s, tips/tricks, updating you about our projects and life AND we will still be consulting!
We will be offering virtual and in person design consulting. Not sure what that means? STAY TUNED. 🙂
From our family to yours, we are truly grateful for all of your support.
