The posts are made by hand and reinforced into place with metal brackets. The bridge slats are slightly skinnier than the platforms . The railing is hand-woven twine to stabilize the bridge and give the cats the ability to lounge. Our cats love napping in the middle of our bridge together and our 15lb cat Ickle sleeps on his back in it.

***The length you pick is of how far you want the slats to hang. Do not include the two end platforms in your measurement. If your doorway is 43" wide, you should order a 45" bridge. It is smart to add a few inches to your direct measurement to give a little wiggle room for mounting, unless you know where your studs are. A 45" bridge will come 81" long in total (two 18" platforms and 45" of slats)***

If you need a custom length in an odd number between the 5" increments that are in the listing, just buy the next length up from what you need and leave a message in the order notes of what specific length you need.

We can do most every bridge sent our way. We can make bridges spanning from one wall to one perpendicular to it. Just send us a message and we'll work it out.

Flat black brackets are attached and screws are included in your order. If you would like different colored brackets, leave it in a message with your preferred color in the order comments.

Each of the two platforms come with two metal brackets. This is one of our only pieces that we dont attach the brackets to before sending, because it's hard to guess where someone's studs will be and each platform needs to be mounted into at least one stud. When you mount the brackets, make sure yyou mount the on the top of the platforms. Because we're using corner braces, this is how they will be most sturdy.
