T & L Upholstery Shop is looking for a highly skilled seamstress/sewer that has experience in upholstery sewing or is willing to learn upholstery sewing. We are willing to train the right person that is already a skilled seamstress/sewer. Sewing will be done on our industrial sewing machine. This is initially a part time position that has potential to move to full time.
This job will also require furniture tear down (removal of upholstery fabric) and moving and lifting of furniture. A strong back and strong hands are a must. The ideal candidate will have an eye for pattern/design, has a need to be creative, and is good at problem solving. A willingness to learn different aspects of the upholstery process is a plus.
This new hire will be joining a very close mother/daughter team that loves to talk about our family, Christian faith, and enjoy fun and laughter. We are hard workers that want to maintain our level of excellence in our work and professionalism. Mother is looking to cut back hours towards retirement; allowing this position to become full-time.
