RM MARKET + MERCANTILE was founded in 2012 in a historic building in downtown Thomaston, Georgia -- a leap of faith for two southern girls who became close friends while working at a local bank together. After 5 years of curating, retailing, and restoring in what used to be the town's old hardware store (all to the tunes of Elvis, Fontella Bass, Aretha Franklin, and all other 60s greats like them)

, the sky's the limit. The RM isn't just a store -- it's a testament of true friendship & about doing what everyone told them couldn't be done!
