My next project will be a beautiful vintage vanity. I'm using this gorgeous fabric for the seat with a perfectly matching chalk mineral paint and dazzling k***s.

The buffet is completed! 💯

✔️ Cleaned the entire piece inside and out. 🧼
✔️ Removed hardware and added gold leaf rub.
✔️ Taped and painted Dixie Belle's Silk Mineral Paint in the color Anchor. 🎨
✔️ Applied Helmsman's over the black.

This piece was going to be the next item up for sale, but my mom loves it so much that she wants to keep it!

This antique buffet is coming along nicely. I cleaned the entire piece, repaired 2 legs & primed and painted the first coat of paint on the main piece. Up next are 2-3 more coats of Dixie Belle's Silk Anchor (black), tape and paint the buffet doors & reassemble. Then the final stages....smooth and beautify the top & seal the entire piece with Helmsman semi-gloss.

Up next is this gorgeous antique buffet just in time for the holidays! There are a couple of small leg repairs to be completed first, but the next challenge will be sanding and painting over the this vaneer coat. I'll be using Dixie Belle's Silk Anchor but plan to leave some of the original buffet wood apparent.

Introducing “Flora”. She's a popular style of vintage vanity transformed from a boring piece in need of much love to this vibrant and fun statement piece.

The vanity and stool were sought after separately and paired together. 🛻

A white vinegar solution was used to clean the pieces from top to bottom. 🧼

⚓️ Dixie Belle's Anchor Silk All-In-One Mineral Paint 🎨 was used throughout.

Iron Orchid's Midnight Garden transfers were adhered to the piece.

A gold rub was used to transform the hardware to a true golf leaf color. Brand new hardware was also purchased to hold the mirror. 🪞

Minwax® Helmsman® Spar Urethane was used to seal the entire piece.

New FUR FABRIC has been used to recover the matching stool.
