Anderson WoodWorks Anderson WoodWorks is a small locally owned woodworking shop focusing on reclaiming, reusing and recreating furniture and home decor from recycled lumber.

My name is Michael Anderson and I am the Owner/Founder/Creator of Anderson WoodWorks. I founded this company in 2015 in the small backyard of my home in Tempe, Arizona. Over the past year I have gone from making small home decor pieces for myself and family to creating custom pieces for people that hear of my hobby. It is time to finally take my hobby and turn it into something I can do for a livi

ng and that starts now. I love to work with my hands and am constantly in the process of creating. The major focus of AWW is taking recycled lumber from whatever source that may be; old pallets, reclaimed barns, wood from an old construction site, or even wood found around the valley, and turning it into a piece of art that is functional. I strive to make every piece different and unique in its own special way meaning that no two pieces are the same and nothing comes from plans that I did not sketch myself. Each one is handcrafted by me and me alone with a story of where the material came from and what is special about it. I take pride in what I do and enjoy every minute of it! I always have pieces laying around the house that will be posted up for sale and I am always looking for a custom piece to make for someone. All my products are garenteed to make you smile and fit perfectly in your home, if not then without question I will do whatever is necessary to make you happy with my product. I am so excited to finally share my passion for woodworking with everyone who sees my art.

This piece is both a beer crate and a carrying crate. The devider can be added and removed according to need. Materials are from my own home after a recent remodel that left me with some extra wood. Bottom is made with press board and the sides are a soft pine stained with a light cherry tint.

This custom order desk was created for a local rendering artist and turned out great. The top is 55” x 22” x 1” and made from reclaimed lumber from a Kentucky Barn from a local supplier. The top was sanded to remove all weathered material but left a thin layer to leave a gray tint. After plenty of planing, staining with a classic gray stain, and finishing it was ready to mount. The base is iron pipe that was stripped and left natural.
