Hey :) Sorry it has been so long! My husband has been battling cancer and we have been focusing on that mostly. However, some friends of ours, Cheryl and David, had a basement FULL of amazing furniture and they knew how much I have missed creating, sooooooooooo..... I spent some time there and we have prepared a trailer load to take to Litchfield Pickers Market August 12th. Hope to see some of our old friends and buyers while we are there. Share if you can. I will post picks too of some of these fabulous pieces, including an old bedroom set that is done in Annie Sloan Florence and dark waxed, an old old old buffet (or two) waterfall dressers and MUCH MORE!

WOW! What a crowd at the Picker's Market yesterday, we did not leave the booth Thanks to all who found and bought treasures, we had the closest to a sellout we have ever had. I am going to take several months off as we have had some major life changes going on. I will try to post things I do for home and other ideas friends have as I enjoy this hiatus. Keep creating!!! I will keep in touch. Thanks to all who have supported us in the past and those who support us in this step too. See you soon!

We made twin bookshelves out of old mahogany 5 panel 1890's house doors today. We had salvage bead board to back them with, and check out thay hardware......Litchfield bound in April! ( unless they sell first).

Still working on stripping the old mantel. Found a tag on it. Built in Chicago by Chaz Lorenzo & Co. For an H.L. Colby in Decatur Il. Have not come across a date but guessing 1890's to 1900's. It has a few small defects that may require it be painted in the long run......we do really try to rescue them. But sometimes it just can't be done in the time and for the cost.

We used old salvage large spindles and rungs to make an ornate linen ladder. We painted it with white chalk paint and dark waxed it.

I apologize for the long gap in posts, in the middle of a HUGE sort and purge :) Here is another option for the old knee hole desks, instead of stacking them, we melded them side by side for a great compact storage piece.
