The Return of the Gods

For they've been here once, a time before
They shall return again
The skies were darkened; ash and more
Just before the bitter end.

They see us when we think they don't
All in all, they are all knowing
Many walk the light most others won't
Up above, you'll see them glowing.

A time in time that which we're in
In a world that was never ours
They return to Earth; their reign to begin
Coming forth down from the stars.

The heavens open slowly,
They move in fleets divided of squads
This is one of many they've shown me
the return of forgotten Gods.

A change will come; a given sign
Many blinded by words of hope
Fear not the message felt divine
From above; a cosmic hope.

They watch on from a distance far
Intervene; in time they will
From the safety of a distant star
Watching all; they can do still.

The time of time where time has passed
From above, thy shields and rods
With a vengeance, they've returned at last
Now embrace; the return of the Gods.
