Amanda Allen Designs, was created by Amanda Allen, co-founder of Tampa based event production company, MMD Events. Having been in the event industry for over 9 years she started Amanda Allen Designs, to allow her interest and abilities to reach further than solely that of event production and design. This new company, offers many different opportunities for Amanda Allen to put her talents to use.
While still leading and operating her event production company, she is also designing venues, event spaces, furniture, textiles and more. As stated by Amanda Allen, "Amanda Allen Designs is a new forum for me to work outside the constraints of specific visual branding. I’m constantly creating new fabric patterns, furniture designs, spaces (both temporary and permanent) and so many other things. AAD is a place to present these exciting designs that break the MMD mold. As a designer I’ll always be known for precise placement of seemingly random objects, genre mixing and a lush layered look – but the thing I’m so excited about is that AAD is free to take this aesthetic in so many different directions – in and out of the event world."
