Coconut, like her mom, has excellent taste. 🐅 🖤Originally custom made for the Miami home of a global hotel magnate, every element of these incredible tiger chairs speaks to their heirloom quality, all the way down to the texture & weight of the fabric & ninja-level of invisible stitching. All original, phenomenal condition. It’s remarkable to find one chair like this, let alone a pair. Approximately 3ft wide x 3ft deep. If you lust after le tigre like I do, these ones are for you. $2800/ pair.

One of the most requested, but hardest to source in good condition — cane front credenzas! This beauty by Founder’s is an excellent example. Cane doors add texture and style but also functionality. Less commonly seen than the white k**b variation— the look of Drexel Declaration by Kipp Stewart is unmistakable. Gorgeous walnut grain, classic lines and built like a tank. We’ve opted to leave this 60+ year old beauty as she is (small re-touch on a drawer and light signs of use on her top) as a more affordable option than offering her fully restored. We think she’s a showstopper as is, especially with her harder to find original brass & wood accent pulls. My first ever “real” job was at at 16 years old and I’ve worked in retail ever since. I loved that job. I feel it taught me just as much as my degree. The money I saved for years working after school and weekends at Narcissus as a teen eventually became the money I used to open my first storefront at 21 years old during my senior year at FSU. Every single dime I had went into that tiny little storefront and I loved it fiercely. I opened my first brick & mortar shop at 21, my second at 28 and my third at 31— all possible, I truly believe, because my love of retail was launched by the wonderful giving a little freshly-turned 16 year old fashion & design nerd an opportunity. Fast forward to 33, being on the cover of modeling the swimwear I used to sell, surrounded by vintage patio furniture from Rare Bird truly fees like a full-circle moment. Thank you and for inviting me to be a part of this incredibly fun shoot, the lovely Katie for being a perfect modeling buddy and Tallahasssee Magazine for letting me be your cover girl this season. Swipe to the end to see one of the framed Tallahassee Magazine covers of my Dad from 1993 that hangs in my childhood home (where this shoot was done!) He’s not here to see this, but I know it would make him very proud.
