I am beyond thrilled to work with this great group of individuals and to keep moving NAPO forward!
President’s Message, June 2021:
I am honored to step into the role of NAPO-Arizona President, following in the footsteps of Deb Lawrence and the extraordinary individuals who have served the Chapter in this capacity over the past 25 years.
As we move into a new year, we owe a huge thank you to the 2020-2021 Board of Directors for their dedication, service and leadership over the past year. Also, to our members for giving your time and talents to make the year a success. This last year has been a testament to the resilience and fortitude of the remarkable individuals who make up NAPO-AZ. Despite the uncertainties and obstacles that arose in the last year, NAPO-AZ has the highest number of membership and is growing daily.
As I look ahead to the upcoming year and the challenges we will face, I would like to share one of my favorite adages: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Gandhi. I look forward to serving as NAPO-AZ Chapter President and bringing my passion, dedication and tenacity to this amazing organization.
I am excited to welcome your 2021-2022 Officers and Directors to the Board who I am certain will successfully fill their predecessors’ shoes! Please join me in welcoming: Vice-President, Kayle Klix; Secretary, Crystal Goodman; Treasurer, Cindy Keefe; Director of Membership, Denise R Stalsberg; Director of Marketing, Sheri MacGregor; Director of Business Partners, Julie Jakubek; Director of Professional Development, Eric Marshall; and Past President, Debbi Watts Lawrence.
Our new and returning Chairs include: Newsletter Chair, Missy Feldman; Librarian, Debbi Bertolettolet; NAPO Ambassador, Bridges Conner; and Golden Circle Ambassador, Valerie Cantrell.
I am thrilled to be working with such an exceptional group of leaders in the months ahead. Thank you for allowing me to serve alongside you this year. I truly appreciate your support and encourage you to share any feedback and ideas you may have as we work together in the coming year.
Your new president,
Sarah Nie
