A complete renovation!

We designed, built, and installed this beautiful kitchen, completely replacing the tired 90's design and giving the homeowner a modern, fully functional kitchen.

The design incorporates farmhouse style including the use of reclaimed lumber from a 150 year old barn. The homeowner is still waiting on some appliances that were ordered in June and scheduled for delivery later this month.

We will be featuring some of the details of this lovely kitchen in the next few weeks, so stay tuned...

The main barn at Sunny Meadow Farms was razed in 2020. The pile of rubble you see behind Alex and me have produced some beautiful pieces of furniture.

The latest is one of our favorites and is patterned after a farmhouse hutch built in 1865 (the year that this barn was built). The beams of this barn are estimated to have been saplings in the early 1700's and is some of the most beautiful wood we have ever used. Toward that end, the hutch only received a clear coat, celebrating the natural color and straight grain.

This is now an heirloom for my sister and her family. The barn taken down was from the farm where we grew up. This was a joy to build.
