Just a little FYI. You probably have asked yourself “why on earth are cabinets so widely different in price?” Well, when purchasing kitchen or bathroom cabinets you need to be informed and educated on the difference in quality that subsequently affects the price you pay. Cabinets nowadays are being fabricated from every product known to men that can withstand some weight. Wood - constructed with plywood cabinet boxes that range from 1/2” - 3/4” thickness, Fiberboard or (Engineered wood also know as MDF), particle board (we all have seen these), and Foamboard; the last is the cheapest in the market, and very popular among homeowners that don’t know the difference and want to save money. Unfortunately, no dealer looking for a quick sale will take the time to educate you on why the price may be lower. Foamboard is the same material used for some home insulation products, it contains no wood. I’m attaching a few pictures of what to avoid when buying cabinets. High-end cabinets will NOT have these characteristics. If anyone is curious about cabinet lines, and quality please contact me, even if you don’t buy from us, at least you’ll know what you’re getting yourself into. Cheers
