I am overjoyed to learn The Mountain of Dempsey Molehill won the middle grade category in the 2026 Midwest Book Awards!

Being a small business owner and discovering your passion later in life has been one of the most exciting, thrilling, exhausting, and fulfilling journeys I’ve ever taken. There’s something so special about pouring your heart into something you truly love, working endlessly to build a dream, and surrounding yourself with the most positive, kind, supportive customers, family, and friends along the way.

It isn’t always easy… there are long days, challenges, worries, and moments where you wonder if you’re doing enough. But watching something you’ve built continue to grow, improve, and become successful makes every ounce of hard work worth it.

This is my jump… choosing passion, chasing dreams, working hard, and believing that something beautiful can come from simply taking a chance on yourself. 🤍
