This walnut dresser is the stuff of dreams… ☁️🗝️

The details on this piece are out of this world, starting with the fact it is made of solid, beautiful walnut, not to mention the curved edges, drawer details, carving at the base, as well as working locks and the original key. Yes, it locks!

I went for a beautiful neutral finish that could match almost anything but tell me this doesn’t look like something out of a Pottery Barn or Studio McGee catalogue. 😍

Honestly the size is perfect too—not a giant bulky piece but still makes a statement.

Remember the piece I said made me question my sanity for dragging it home? 👀

Yeah… this is her now.

Dimensions: 54” long x 30” deep x 31.5” tall
$215, Pick Up Strawberry Point

What used to be part of an old Murphy bed (with rusted-out hardware and zero hope) ended up turning into one of those pieces that just feels right once it’s done.

Finished in a soft, weathered wood tone — it’s got that Pottery Barn feel where it stays light and airy, but still warm enough to not feel washed out.

The shape is what sold me from the start… those curved legs and the long, slim top just make it feel elevated instead of bulky.

It’s a little unconventional in the best way — perfect behind a sofa, in an entry, or styled as a vanity with a stool tucked underneath.

Decorative drawer fronts on the front (no interior drawers), so you get the look without breaking up that clean surface.

Not your standard piece… but definitely one of those “you won’t see another like it” situations.

Good storage without the big price tag 👀

This one’s a little different — but honestly super functional.

Painted in a true sage green (camera keeps trying to make it look gray… it’s not)

• Drawers + cabinet storage
• Cord hole inside so it works great as a TV stand
• Tons of space without being oversized

Metal drawer slides do have a little squeak, but everything works exactly like it should.

If you’ve been needing extra storage and don’t want to spend a fortune — this is a solid piece.

She’s a true, soft sage green and way prettier in person.

Such a good smaller hutch — perfect if you don’t have room for a big bulky one but still want that statement piece.

Original glass detail ✔️
Solid wood drawer ✔️
Great storage without taking over a room ✔️

(And yes I ran out of glass cleaner at the end — don’t judge me, it wipes right up 😅)

I bet you were always told wood and water don’t mix… 👀

Warm, rainy April day = the perfect excuse to give this piece a full-on chemical bath.

I love when a piece has a pre WW2 rubbed oil finish - these chemicals are stripping it down and then I’m just rinsing out all those red tannins hiding in the wood. It’s messy and easy to mess up but when you get it right… it’s insane results!

Okay… I’m genuinely surprised this one is still here 👀

Dropped the price because I need to move it, but it’s such a good piece — deep walnut, original arched doors, and a super clean interior with a hanging rod + shelf already in.

Honestly perfect if you’re short on closet space — it’s basically an instant one.

When working on furniture there’s three big steps for me…

1. Purpose
2. Structure
3. Finish

The first decision I have to make is how to answer this set of questions: What is someone going to do with this piece and where are they going to put it?
Identifying the purpose changes every decision when it comes to how I move forward.

Once I know what the piece is for - I move into structure. Identify and fix everything that needs it. Sometimes, I have a step three idea before a step two - but other times it becomes a surprise. 🥰

Reposting this one because I genuinely thought it’d be gone by now 👀

Deep walnut finish, original arched doors, and a clean interior with a hanging rod + shelf — ready to be used.

Would make an incredible wardrobe, linen cabinet, or statement storage piece.

Sometimes the projects I bring home, make me question my own sanity -

A few months ago, I was picking up a ton of furniture and this piece was ready to be tossed in the dumpster. I kept saying to myself there was something just cool about it and if I had a way to squeeze it into the back of the truck, I would…

So guess what? I actually ended up driving with a tailgate down and this piece ratchet strapped on the very back with the legs hanging off - talk about an oversized truckload, my jenga skills came in clutch.

This piece is an insanely unique table, and it actually wasn’t a table at all. It was actually a Murphy bed at one time! All of the steel components for the Murphy bed were rusted shut and disposed of as this piece lived in a basement. BUT the unique side of this table has me thinking… big desk? Kitchen island? Craft table?

What do y’all think!? 🤔

Someone’s spending Easter without their kitchen table this year… and it’s sitting right here in pieces. 🐣

And honestly, this one already has a great story.

Based on how it’s built, we’re likely looking at an early 1900-1915 farmhouse table—over 100 years old. The kind of piece that’s been taken apart, repaired, moved, and used by more than one family over time.

You can see it in the construction—large flathead bolts typed dating pre-WW1, early wire nails, and a base designed to come apart and go wherever life took it.

Now it’s here.

And instead of covering all of that up, we’re taking it all the way back—stripping it down to raw wood and bringing it back to a true, original oak tone.

I built a jig for the legs (pictured here) and spent about 3 hours working through layers of old finish with stripper and steel wool to get them clean and ready.

They’ll dry overnight, and Monday we start into the base.

This one’s just getting started. 💕
