And now for something completely different. I was asked to make a piece of wall art for a trucking/shipping company. The piece is a replica of a shipping container made from curly maple and sapele. The piece is 3’ long and 18” high, the company logo will be added at some point.

Installed this loft ladder yesterday. The client wanted a safer way to access her loft / storage space. The ladder is 60 degrees and is modeled after a “ships ladder”. The attachment hardware allows the ladder to be lifted off the support bar making it a true ladder and not a narrow set of stairs. Material is red oak with a low VOC finish by Rubio Monocoat USA
