Life lately….

Want to know a secret? 🤫

Every flip has unforeseen challenges. All of them. All of the problems are different, and make me think or do math 🤣.

This is one of the reasons I love it 🩷.

This should have been a simple strip and restain…. And fix all the chew marks a failing veneer.

But, the stain didn’t turn out nearly as dark as we had intended. Should have trusted my gut! I ended up adding a walnut gel stain delicately and sealing.

The grain is still visible, and honestly, I’m tickled at how well it turned out 🤭.

BTW… walnut is THE color for 2026 🤌🏼🤌🏼

This set had a lot of character and texture- so we decided not to fight it! Solid rough pine got a little glow-up. They are perfect for the glamping enthusiast- a little rustic, a little glam! Details are in comments ⬇️
