Just wanted to share these photos of the motor home we are working on. As I have said in a previous post- this flaking material has been showing up in many places- dining room chairs, office chairs and furniture! It was put in motor homes for about 5 years and is just starting to really deteriorate - which is great for us!! Share if you please!

As I have said before, my Dad had an automotive upholstery shop for 50 years I grew up around it and eventually learned the trade- which was very helpful when i was in the ministry to bring in extra income. I took over his shop a few years ago when he developed Alzheimer’s and eventually passed away. A couple of weeks ago, a gentleman came in who said my Dad did several jobs for him through the years and he really liked the diamond pleats my Dad made for his seats. He was wondering if I could do the same. It just so happens that I still have the same pleat template that my dad used for many, many years. So I did this seat for him.

This is our latest project at Don’s Upholstery. It is our fourth camper in the last couple of months. The material just start’s flanking off. It’s as if it happens overnight!! Thanks China for the business!!!

One of the major jobs we do is what I call the end cap. It is the outside of usually the drivers seat where they slide in and out. We have found it best to replace that bad part with vinyl, also we repair the bad foam with high density foam and build the whole bottom cushion back up!
