We make furniture in Star, North Carolina.
It’s a small town in a part of the country that, in many ways, was left behind.
The factories closed. Manufacturing moved away. Jobs disappeared. The population shrank. And when a town gets smaller, investment and opportunity have a way of shrinking with it.
For more than half a century, Lancer has been building furniture in this town. And we believe the future of places like Star don’t have to be defined by what they lost.
