Beautifully refinished vintage four-drawer dresser here that is solid wood—looking real fresh and ready for spring 🌿🌿🌿

Lovely soft sage green in a flat, modern finish. Hardware swapped out for modern matte gold k***s to update it, while keeping its simple, cozy elegant vibe intact. Drawer sides and tracks treated with beeswax to make the wood grain POP, and keep the drawers working nicely.

Sweet blue babe here! 💙

This larger buffet dresser was redone in Ice Drop, a subtle blue from to complement paintings that would hang above the piece in a client’s living room.

Kept the original hardware, but updated to a matte black finish to update its look. Commission piece so it’s already got a home 🙃

Freshly finished antique radio cabinet here that has been reinvented in Smokey White with original hardware and woodworking accents elevated for a more modern look 👌

Commission project for a client, so not up for grabs, sorry! Love how the features on this old piece now pop w/ a little more life thanks to the entire brightening effect 🥂

Hello! Megan here. Checking in because for those on the VR radar, I have been taking some time away from the furniture game. In the last few months I lost someone very important to me, went through a big move and went FT at my day job.

That time away has been rather chaotic and emotional, but needed. There’s been some soul searching and a lot of outdoor time. Live music has also helped.

But, I miss my studio, the feeling of sandpaper, a brush in my hand and the satisfaction of turning something forgotten into a functional beauty again. I will be refocusing on less commission pieces, and getting back to basics with redoing pieces I find in my own vision. Albeit at a slower pace. Which, is how this whole thing started years ago.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around, and to those folks I had to say no to on projects in the last half a year who responded with true kindness. Especially thank you to those who keep reminding me of the value of this hobby/small business/passion.

Cheers to a slow, intentional return 🫶

Admittedly this commission project took a lot longer to complete than anticipated due to some roadblocks hit along the revamp. But, sometimes you need to pivot and step back and reframe. In the end, it’s not 100% the look we wanted, but it sure does look more refreshed than before. Client is happy, so I am happy ☺️

✨SOLD✨ Handsome antique table here that has a nice rustic vibe! A reclaimed sewing table, it no longer has a machine in it, but would serve as a perfect tall entryway or side table. Redone in a deep Shipwreck Blue tone, top also has a black glaze effect for extra depth. Entire piece is double sealed for protection. New map-themed brass k**b on the mini drawer for some added character!

Well would ya look at that. Today is Vogue Revivals’ 6th Anniversary! 🎊

Way back then I was just picking up discarded antique furniture from the city alleyways and flipping my way into a little side hustle for extra rent money. This was before it had a name, and long before I knew what I was actually doing. After a year, I decided this hobby wasn’t going anywhere and I gave the cat a name. Vogue Revivals was born, followed by a social page, then by an official website and finally an LLC and bank account. And now here we are, nearly 300 pieces later.

Thanks to all the people who have come into my life because of this little side biz. You have given my reinvented vintage beauties happy homes, and me the encouragement to keep doing what I do. I don’t know much after these six years, except that we are all works in progress.

✨SOLD✨ This mammoth beauty came into my life in March 2021 and after getting it into the basement for safekeeping I thought about it often, but didn’t move it for a year and a half. It was happily resurrected this summer and due to its size and heft, was redone right in my living room ☺️ It’s a Mid-Century credenza made by Drexel (if you know, you know), and this thing has more storage space than I have ever seen. Solid as a rock! (Shoutout to all the dear people who helped me relocate this puppy since last year…you’re amazing.)

Not in mint condition (missing one interior drawer, minor veneer repair on the side), but boy did she clean up nice. Redone in a trendy deep blue, double matte sealed for protection, original hardware updated with care in a matte gold finish. Use it as a dresser, record console, entertainment center, dining room buffet, etc.!

A complete one-of-a-kind. Message to give her a new home or inquire on pricing and purchase questions! This one is real special ❤️

✨SOLD✨ If you like your furniture with a lot of bells and whistles, then this guy isn’t for you. But if you appreciate a simple, solid dresser that can do an honest day’s work then it might be a match!

This handmade rustic dresser has been redone in a soft pale gray and double sealed in a flat finish. Black matte finish to the updated (and original!) hardware to create a modern Farmhouse look. Outsides of those handcrafted drawers have been beeswax treated to keep them sliding nicely. The huge drawers allow for tons of storage options!

Another antique secretary custom refinish coming your way! This tall drink of water was in great shape for its age and had heavy use in the 1970s (I found the receipts in its drawers to prove it), but it needed a revamp.

It’s a family heirloom so we decided to keep the traditional hardware, but evened out its discoloration in an antique bronze finish for some pop. Client wanted to make a BOLD statement, so chose a coral pink to complement the original blonde interior finish. Lots of delicate features & lots of intricate steps required on this one! 🙌🏻

Four-drawer storage and statement piece that has new modern stone k***s and sealed in multi matte finish coats for ultra durability. Drawer sides have been treated with beeswax to make their natural wood grain pop every time you open a drawer. What a cutie 😍
