Here is the update on this log bench. It’s going to be given to a customer to replace a very rickety bench.

This one is very sturdy!

What do you think? I’m not sure if I like or dislike the little arm braces on the side. It almost gives it a fuller look for a very simple chair, but I’m still not sure I like them.

Starting on this half-log bench!

Got the glue up done and now I’m onto the sanding, back rest, and legs.

I can’t wait to see it finished!

People see the finished furniture, but they don’t always see the work behind it.

Every log is different, and that’s what I love most. From selecting the right piece to peeling, sanding, fitting, and finishing, every project is built by hand and takes time.
