》 KEEN OUTDOORS AND L&L Furniture Company EXPANSION 《
All of us here at Keen Outdoors are wishing a happy retirement to Greg and Lisa Henline! We can only imagine all of the wonderful years that they have had owning Southwest Trading Company . They have supported us in all aspects of our personal and business lives, and have quickly become precious friends to us. Now it’s time for a new adventure, and we wish them all the best!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the community for the continued support over the past four years with our store, Keen Outdoors. We are so blessed to be able to have this place for you all. You guys are simply amazing, and we wouldn’t be here without each of you! With that being said, we have been keeping a huge secret. We couldn’t be more excited to announce that we are, once again, expanding!
We present Burnette’s Country Store to Spruce Pine!
We have bought out all of the quality brands that Southwest Trading Company has, and even added several more! We will be combining everything we currently carry at Keen Outdoors along with several other top notch brands to hopefully provide the community the ultimate place to shop! We want to stress that we will still have ALL of our awesome outdoor products that we currently carry here at Keen Outdoors, PLUS we will be picking up several more. The goal is to have something for everyone! We will share more about additional products that will be available in our store when the time comes.
Burnette’s Country Store will be located at 279 Oak Avenue, Spruce Pine NC - the previous Southwest Trading Company Building. Opening date is estimated to be around May 27th, 2023. Keen Outdoors will continue to be open at our current location 280 Oak Avenue until this date.
As for business ventures for our previous location goes, we have a message that our sweet friends at L&L Furniture would like for us to share with you all:
"We would like to give the warmest congratulations to Gregg and Lisa Henline of Southwest Trading Company on their retirement, and wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors! Gregg and Lisa have been great friends of L&L Furniture on a professional and personal level. We will miss them tremendously! We are excited to announce the addition of 2 more showrooms on Oak Avenue to give our customers an even greater shopping experience. With this expansion, we will be partnering with Buck Stove here in Spruce Pine to stage a full outdoor center in one showroom.
At L&L Furniture we strive to support local in every possible decision we make. Spruce Pine is very fortunate to have so many local resources that we can use to provide for this community! We are very passionate about employing and supporting local in every aspect. It is our ultimate goal to
keep all business and prosperity here in Mitchell County! Therefore, the outdoor center showroom will include outdoor furniture, outdoor heating, outdoor kitchen, outdoor grills and anything else Buck Stove provides! The second showroom is giving us a chance to provide furniture on a very friendly budget. We will be adding two more well-known furniture vendors with this expansion to give our customers the chance to continue to shop locally for all their furniture, appliance, and home décor needs!
