This piece is date stamped from 1917 but had NO markers to tell me what company made it. I put it through Google lens and it shows Thomasville, but to my knowledge, Thomasville always stamps their pieces.
Can I just say how amazing Barkeeper's friend is?! Look at that hardware shine! That's not paint, that's the original color!

This deep-grained veneer needed some help with a calcium carbonate additive, but I am loving the new look. I will never understand why manufacturers will add single, small pulls to large drawers. Now that she is balanced and glammed up with some champagne bronze pulls, she is ready for her new home!

I forgot to get an actual before shot 🤦🏼‍♀️ but these were just basic and dark. My original vision was to sand and stain the tops, but they weren't taking the stain evenly, so I ended up changing directions and went for leaving just the legs and painting the body in a warm neutral white. The hardware was originally a brushed nickel, but after some gold spray paint and brown wax they really bring these nightstands home.

Newly refurbished buffet, painted in a custom soft minty green with English Chestnut stained center drawers. The green felt was in excellent condition, except for the bottom two drawers. I tried all the tricks to get that felt removed and it was an absolute nightmare; but after multiple attempts and a few hours I got it! I swear they used industrial grade glue on them 😂 however I am really happy with the neutral liner I had on hand. The contrast between the green and the stain is so pretty 😍

This piece actually had a nice veneer and stain on it, but it needed a face-lift. Now this piece is ready to rock the room of his new home. What a stallion! 🤩 And can I just say how in love I am with that hardware... Honestly, it's why I bought the piece. 😆

This was in rough shape and the more I worked on it the more work I realized it needed. From failing finish to veneer repair, but all the hard work really paid off! This piece is so solidly built (of course, it's Bassett) and just needed lots and lots of love. Pretty sure I cried several times while working on this. What do you think? It's painted in a Soft Chamois by Benjamin Moore and I used Driftwood stain, which has a green undertone, to help "reduce" some of the red in the veneer. This was truly a labor of love, because I am willing to bend over backwards for MCM ❤️❤️❤️❤️
