It was an inspiring week on the road in the USA! Our Head of Global Sales, Reinhard Dallinger, traveled from Austria to join Brent Fischmann, Managing Director North America, for a week of customer visits and the NWFA Expo in Orlando.

During their tour in the deep south Brent and Reinhard had the distinct pleasure of visiting the team at Palm City Millwork to see their incredible operations firsthand.

Walking through their facility, it’s easy to see why they’ve been a leader in luxury custom millwork since 1987. Their commitment to quality is unmatched.

In 2022, Czech oak flooring manufacturer Esco CZ Productions installed two fully automated WINTERSTEIGER TRC 1500 timber cosmetic repair systems on their lamella production line. This gave them the ability to process 600–700m2 of boards per 8-hour shift on each TRC system, without adding extra labor.

For Esco, in adition to the labor savings, there was one main advantage of TRC technology: repaired lamellae can be immediately transported onwards to the next production step without delays due to stacking, drying, etc. This reduces stock levels and provides a better overview of the entire process.

Another plus was that initial tests showed that the repair of larger knotholes had an improved appearance compared to manual filling, because the surface is finer after brushing and the defect is more compact.

WINTERSTEIGER TRC machines are available in both automated and manual versions and the TRC M-Easy manual repair machine is in stock in the USA for immediate delivery.
