There’s a whole lot of heavy lifting behind a furniture store. 💪

Big shoutout to our warehouse and merchandising teams—the people receiving new furniture, unboxing and assembling it, moving it around the showroom (sometimes more than once 😅), loading it up, delivering it and getting it safely into your home.

It’s physical work, it takes a great team, and so much of what happens at The Tin Roof wouldn’t be possible without them. Thank you for all the muscle, care and hard work you put in every day. We appreciate you! 👏 👏

Sometimes your sofa doesn’t need replacing, it just needs some new pillows.

Pillows are one of the easiest ways to give a sofa or sectional a fresh look. Add a new color, bring in a fun pattern, or layer in more texture to change the whole feel of the room without a big makeover.

Design tip: When mixing patterns, vary the scale. Try one larger pattern with a smaller print, then add a solid or textured pillow to give your eye a place to rest. Pulling the same 2–3 colors through the mix will help everything feel connected without being too matchy.

Simple ways to make your home feel like fall without putting a pumpkin on every single surface. 😂 Don't get us wrong, pumpkins are great, but sometimes the best seasonal decorating is barely “seasonal” at all.

Bring in warmer colors, richer textures, natural wood, softer lighting and a few moodier accents and suddenly the whole room feels a little cozier, without having to pack it all away November 1st.
