The Florida United Methodist Children's Home is one of the key community outreach programs supported by New Horizon United Methodist Church. The kids in this home are amazing, and it is such a privilege to get to know them and to raise awareness and support for this important work. New Horizon Golf Classic and Luncheon

One of our most successful events in

support of the Florida United Methodist Children's Home is the annual New Horizon Golf Classic and Luncheon. 2017 will be the 31st year of this popular event. In addition to the golf tournament, there are plenty of activities for attendees who don't even play golf, including a Silent Auction with some amazing items donated by our generous sponsors. Tickets for the Golf Classic and the Luncheon are available through our website bidpal.net/nhgolf. The auction will begin with online bidding in late April and will feature the ease of mobile and concierge bidding during the Golf Classic and Luncheon. The level of golf isn't always top notch, but the interaction and support of the community throughout the event is always a blast! The Florida United Methodist Children's Home now has foster care services in South Florida with an office at New Horizon UMC. Opportunities to volunteer in the office or serve as a foster parent are available.
