As we continue the celebration of our 30th Anniversary, it’s time to head to the west coast! Mecox Los Angeles opened in 2003 - the allure of the west coast was hard to resist on its own, but combined with the incredible design corridor along La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood, it was a done deal.

After 20 wonderful years at our original West Hollywood location, we moved into our new digs with our sweet pups at 326 N. La Cienega (at Beverly Boulevard). Our exciting new space is a delightful jewel box emporium, carefully curated to feature all the things that makes us Mecox: amazing accessories, fine furniture, fabulous lighting, and those hard to find, one-of-a-kind, vintage treasures, that truly make a house a home.

Dallas based designer Jan Showers believes, “Design should relate to the way we live—it also should be beautiful, glamorous, comfortable and luxurious, even when very casual.” Showers style has been described by one of her clients as, “The interiors of Jan Showers & Associates are chic and timeless. They exude glamour and grace with an approachable and at ease feeling, much like Jan herself.”

Over the course of her career—spanning three decades—she has received many of the profession’s highest honors and published 4 beautiful books. The most recent, The Glamorous House, was released in September 2025. Jan served as Co-Chair of Kips Bay Decorator Show House for 3 years, Honorary Chair last year and Co-Chair of The President’s Dinner for Kips Bay for the past two years. Her magazine credits alone place her in the highest echelon of designers.

Cathy Kincaid’s enviable sense of color and intricate design detail has established her as one of the country’s top designers and an editorial favorite whose work is published internationally. For more than 30 years, Kincaid has designed houses for her clients that are as individual as they are. A recipient of the ICAA’s John Staub Award, Kincaid is highly respected for her commitment to restoring old houses and filling them with traditionally stylish antiques and furnishings. From a historic Beaux Arts Estate in Dallas and a 1750’s Ship Captain’s Cottage in Old Lyme, CT to a Mas de Baraquet in the South of France, Kincaid’s interiors evoke a sense of comfortable elegance that remains unmatched. Kincaid offers a diverse combination of old and new design elements, but her primary goal as a designer remains: to create inviting, livable spaces with her clients’ happiness the top priority.

At Cathy Kincaid Interiors Ltd., each of her design projects benefits from her careful eye: she coordinates activities between architects, painters, lighting designers, landscapers and high-tech media companies. “Good decoration is never stagnant,” she explains, “by cultivating a good relationship between client, designer and architect, our main objective is to expand a client’s initial design ideas, ultimately materializing their vision into a home.”
