Bruce H Kreymborg Antique Restoration Welcome! Bruce H Kreymborg Antique Restoration & Conservation is located on the eastern end of Long Island in Southampton, New York. All work is strictly COD.

We are open year round and our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8am-Noon & 1pm-5pm, Saturdays are by appointment only and closed Sundays. Services proivided are as follows:

We have been providing these services since 1967 and consist of 4 Master Craftsmen. No job is to big or to small. If you don't see a service listed please ask. We provide local pick-up and delivery service. We also provide free estimates. You are more than welcome to stop by with you item for an estimate. We also work with moving and storage companies so if you need to ship your item to be repaired we will be more than happy to recieve it. Any shipping is solely at the customers expense. Hand blown glass and guilded candle holders...broken in various places and a handyman repair with gorilla glue and tape...all old glue and tape were removed, surfaces to be reattached were roughed up with a diamond dremel bit, cleaned with alcohol and attached utilizing UV glue since its clear glass...UV glue may yellow over time if exposed to UV light constantly but these will be away from windows and UV light...if the repair wasnt as complicated with many tiny broken areas then the HXTAL NYL-1 Epoxy would have been used, but due to how many days of cure time needed it wasnt an option...

Loredano Rosin "the Lovers" murano glass...the female broke free from the base as these were glued on...Katherine Kreymborg cleaned off the old yellowing glue, the used a diamond dusted dremel tip, roughed up the glass where she was to be attached as well as the bottom on the female ans using HXTAL NYL-1 Epoxy, reattached her and taped in place till the epoxy cured...now the lovers are reunited ❤️

Beautiful little oak side chair, poorly repaired and falling apart...

Adam McElrath did a full teardown, stripped off all old finish, repaired all old repairs, replaced missing and incorrect rungs, rounded all sharp edges of the seat frame and holes, the chair was stained in a custom color by Katherine Kreymborg in aniline alcohol stain, then sprayed with Royal-Lac catelyzed shellac by Adam, then sanded again and waxed in kiwi bois...

2 piece cabinet that the keys had been lost during transit...Jesse Bruce Wilson had to create 3 new separate keys as well as replace a missing corner...

Each lock was a triple mechanism lock, the upper and lower glass cabinets had bars extending up and down from the center lock, the center drawer with a folding down front had a pair of upward wide bars from the center lock and there was a hidden drawer at the bottom...

It was a challenge as most skeleton locks are somewhat simple but these were custom made 1/4" deep hollow bore keys that each lock was very specific...

The only way to pull open the cabinet doors and drawer are with the keys as this cabinet was designed without any pulls of any kind and is all veneer...

A fellow refinisher needed a pull created in brass...refinishers all over America looked in their stashes as well as the refinisher looking at suppliers to find that specific drawer pull with no luck...

We offered to cast it and he sent it to us and Jesse Bruce Wilson cast the pull, cleaned it up and Katherine Kreymborg touched up the color...

It's one of the 3 drawer pulls, we all aren't sure which one lol

Beautiful oak table refinished by Brian Sean Aery...old muddy lacquer finish was hand stripped, hand sanded and a new polyurethane finish was applied per owners request to prevent water marks...once the old finish was removed, the grain of the quarter sawn oak was able to shine...the rodent carved in the leg is so whimsical and awesome
