The most meaningful spaces are rarely filled with all-new things.

They're layered with pieces that tell a story—objects collected over time, handcrafted finds discovered along the way, and personal treasures that make a house feel uniquely yours.

In this dining room, we paired handmade Tunisian plates with their softly organic shape, ceramic birds the client had collected, and our exclusive recycled porcelain slip espresso cups. Individually, they're beautiful. Together, they create a display that feels personal, curated, and alive.

This is one of my favorite parts of the design process—helping you weave together what you love with new pieces that support the story you're still creating.

I believe every home needs a quiet corner.

A cozy chair by a window. A place to read a few pages of a book. To enjoy a morning coffee before the day begins. To pause, reflect, and simply be for a moment.

They’re layered over time with pieces collected on travels, objects discovered unexpectedly, family photographs, vintage finds, and newer pieces chosen because they still resonate with who you are today.

Indoors, it brings warmth, softness, and connection between the pieces layered around it. Outdoors, it helps define the space, making an open patio or porch feel just as welcoming and complete as a room inside your home.

Designing a room, or an entire home, can feel overwhelming when you think you have to figure out everything all at once.

But often, the process begins much more simply. One piece. One fabric. One work of art. One chair or light fixture that immediately resonates and tells you something about how you want the space to feel.

More than any other room in the house, the bedroom shifts with the seasons.

As the temperature changes outdoors, the layers on the bed should change too with lighter textures in warmer months, softer and cozier layers when the air turns cool. It’s a simple transition, but it changes the way the room feels both physically and mentally.

Refreshing the bed is one of the easiest ways to create a sense of renewal in your home. A new coverlet, breathable linens, or a different mix of pillows can completely transform the mood of the space and how you experience it at the end of the day.
