Do you ever wonder what happens to all that packing material once your move has been completed?

Here is what we do with the plastic wrap. Throughout the year, we save the stretch-wrap in a container in our warehouse. Once the container is filled we deliver it to Merrick Inc. Merrick Inc employs disabled adults who load the plastic into a compactor/bailer. The materials then get sold to manufacturers for the production of things like plastic lumber for outdoor furniture. This money is used to fund the many fantastic programs available to disabled adults by Merrick Inc.
So many benefits:
- Thousands of pounds of plastic do not end up in landfills
- Merrick is able to employ some great folks
- Zippy Shell isn't paying to put this stuff in the trash

We also recycle cardboard and paper wrapping....more on that in a future posting.

Zippy Shell Minneapolis made another important delivery for the Minnesota Vikings!
We picked up a 40-yard US Flag from the MN Gopher's TCF Bank Stadium and delivered it to the Viking's US Bank Stadium.
This will be used for the Viking's "Salute to Service" during the half-time presentation at this Sunday's game against the LA Rams.
Zippy Shell is honored to join the Vikings in thanking all of our men and women in the armed forces for the important selfless work that they do!

Zippy Shell Minneapolis made a special delivery to US Bank Stadium.

The beautifully crafted 6' diameter drum was safely delivered to US Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings. The delivery was flawless and the drum is now safely stored in it's new home ready for a MN Vikings winning season!

So far so good! We've experienced great communication from the Minneapolis office thus far. Our items are currently in storage - to be delivered to our new house in a couple weeks. I don't anticipate any issues with delivery, and would definitely reccomend Zippy Shell to friends and family!

It's Election Day! The day we exercise our ultimate freedom of speech and vote for our leaders.
