I know I haven't had a lot of posts lately about new exciting things I made, but work had to pause for some outdoor R&R! Over the last couple weeks I got both boys on turkeys and they filled their tags, and today I got out walleye fishing on the St. Louis River with a friend I met 20 years ago when we were both WI DNR fisheries technicians. It was a bit slow, but that gave us time to catch up, and we ended up with some really nice fish.

I promise I will get back to work this week lol

This pair of white oak end tables was a commission from some wonderful repeat customers, and these were built to match a coffee table they purchased last fall. Now they will have a matching set!

While this is the end of my big white oak slabs, I have 2" thick ash, white pine, willow, and red oak on hand to make custom pieces just the way you want them! Want a thinner top? I have many more wood species cut to 1" thickness (including some gorgeous elm!). I can also make different style bases with or without lower shelves. Contact me to have your dream furniture pieces come true!

Burl wood is gorgeous! I had a fun time making a whole series of different wall hangings out of ash burl for a friend and regular customer. There's a turkey fan mount, European skull plaque, and a shelf that will have small black hooks added to hang keys.
