The Importance Of Your Website’s Contact Page.

The “Contact Us” section of your website is one of the most important sections because it generates leads for your business. Should your website be enticing enough to draw potential customers in, you’ll want a clean, simple, but effective contact page to capture their interest. After all, you don’t want your customers running off to someone else because they couldn’t reach you. You’ve done all the hard work through marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and home page design—now it’s a matter of using all of these tools to pull that customer in! Most Contact pages contain four key components that could allow your customers to contact you in whichever way may be easiest for them. We highly recommend you include all four components, as not every customer has the same ability or resources to reach you. Well, here they are.

1.MAP
It’s exactly what its sounds like. We suggest you include a physical map of where you are located so that customers have an idea about how to physically get to you! Maybe they don’t like email, phone, or snail-mail, and they would rather just cut right to it and get to speak to an employee in person. This also gives customers a great sense of the area surrounding your business—who knows what else will draw them to your store’s area.

2. BASIC INFORMATION
This seems very elementary, and in fact, it is. But you’ve got to make sure you have your basic contact information in a place that is easy to find and clearly visible to your customers. This type of information should include your company name, physical address, email address, and telephone number.

3. LINKS & SOCIAL MEDIA
Some of your customers may be more inclined to get to know you through social media accounts, such as Facebook and Twitter. If your company does not have a Facebook and Twitter, we highly suggest you get one. These two social media accounts give more insight for your customers to get to know you, poke around, and see what you’re all about (as well as get in contact with you if they’re interested!)

4. SUBMISSION BOX
A submission box is basically like leaving an online voicemail. When customers fill out the submission box, they are basically saying, “Hey, I’m interested in your company. Here’s my info, please get back to me!” Your submission box should therefore be located at a place that is easy for your customers to find on your contact page, and should include a place for them to give you their name, email address, phone number, and a place to leave a small message. The great part about the submission box is that it’s right there for the customer to fill out and send to you! You immediately get all the information of potential customer. You Can’t beat that!

Why Consistently Using Online Videos Builds Your Brand......

As a small business owner, you more than likely already understand just how important it is to develop your brand. It is the strength of your brand which compels people to purchase from you. Think of your brand like a promise; it tells people exactly what to expect when they use your company.

Now, there are a number of ways in which you can build up the strength of your brand. The use of online videos is one of these techniques.
When you use online videos you are giving potential customers a little bit of an idea about what your company is all about. They learn about what you do and what type of services or products you offer.

One of the fantastic things about using online videos is they help to sort of construct you as an ‘approachable’ company. People will feel like you are truly open to connecting with them on a personal level instead of just trying to make a quick sale.

Many businesses also use online videos to showcase the aims and objectives of their companies. For example, your aim may be to produce top quality products for the higher end of the market. You can let this shine through in videos. This way, people are going to know what to expect when they shop with you. In this situation, that means products or services which may not necessarily be cheap, but they are going to be of a high enough quality to justify that price.

Online videos will lead to more trust in your company. When you put yourself out there via video, people will see that you are not a ‘scam’. They will see that you are a genuine company just trying to offer the best possible products and services to your customers.

The best thing about branding with online videos is that the more videos you put out there, the more brand awareness you create. So the next time a viewer is in need of your product or service, they are likely to think of you first.

By building up brand name recognition with videos, you are putting yourself right in front of a large portion of your target audience. Just be sure that your videos are composed of good quality content for the best results. Remember, these videos are often going to be the first time a particular consumer hears about your brand; and first impressions are everything online.

Did you know that 50% of mobile traffic is dedicated to online video content? This means that at any given time, half of the people using their mobile devices will be watching online videos. This trend shows absolutely no sign of slowing down either. In fact, in the future that 50% is likely to creep up significantly.

This means that the best way to get your message into the hands of mobile users is by way of online videos. One way to accomplish this is to put some good video content up on your website. Right now, you may have some great textual content on your website; but very few mobile users are going to be reading it.

Instead of reading textual content, most mobile users are watching videos, using social media, or using mobile apps. This means that textual content on your website simply is not going to be enough to reach the massive mobile audience. If you truly want to reach them then you are going to need to put up mobile content.

Online videos are popular because internet users today are short on time and don’t want to through vast amounts of text; it’s simply painful to do on a mobile device. Even if a website has a responsive design that looks perfect on a mobile device, it is still unlikely somebody will end up reading much of the content. The fact is… trying to read a lot of text on a mobile phone is just too cumbersome to bear for long periods of time.

If somebody wants an ‘information fix’ then they are going to want to watch videos. Videos are incredibly simple to load up on a mobile device. With modern units they look great too. They can be viewed easily without having to play around with the device, and mobile users absolutely love that.

The great thing for you is that it is LOT easier to convey your message through video than it is through text. You will really be able to nail down the message that you want to send to your target audience. If you make good quality content, it is likely they will watch it all the way through too. This is obviously going to be to your benefit in the long run.

Statistics have shown that mobile users are much more likely to watch a video all the way through on a mobile device than on their desktop computer (Presumably because it is not as easy to find a new video). Of course, this is absolutely no excuse for poor quality content. Remember, that video is going to showcase your brand. If it is shoddy then people will think what you offer is shoddy too.

6 Creative Ways to Use Online Videos

Most companies nowadays realize just how important videos are for their internet marketing campaigns. However, there are very few companies that actually realize there is so much more to this method than putting any old video up online and calling it a day.

If you want your video to work for you, then it is vital that it is packed with content that people actually want to watch. If it is bland, then it simply will go unnoticed. Now, there are a number of ways in which you can get creative with your online videos. Here are some of the easiest and most effective ideas.

1. Selling a physical product? Great. You have instant video content right there. Now, you could do something brilliant and produce a ‘how to’ guide to using the product. People will love it as it is so much more descriptive than a chunk of text on your website.

2. Many companies also create ‘seasonal’ content. A company that really sticks in my mind here is a well-known hardware retailer. They sell a particular power tool made for carving wood and other objects. Around Halloween, they launched a demonstration video that had them carving out pumpkins using it. In that industry, it took off like wildfire. That particular product was out of stock within a couple of days.

3. Customers love a company that has a ‘face’. They want to know that if they have a question somebody will be there to answer it for them. If you have a reasonable sized company that actively engages in social media, then it is likely you will have a number of questions coming at you.

4. Now, you could always answer the questions in text form. However, why not do something different? Why not give that answer a bit more of a personal touch? There are a number of companies out there at the moment who are using videos to answer some of the most common questions asked of them through social media. The benefit is that the customers feel ‘special’ and you are also producing good quality content that can be shared.
5. When customers are making the decision as to whether to purchase from you or not, it is likely they will look up reviews online. After all, they want to know that their money is going to be well-spent. If you can, try and get some of your customers to record video testimonials which you can upload to your website and an online video platform. Do NOT pay for video testimonials. People can tell if somebody is not being truthful or not. Only use real customers of yours. People love something that sounds natural (no, actors will not sound natural).

6. Finally, if you wish to capture the attention of viewers, you can always look into the idea of animated videos. These animated videos could be used to give a breakdown of the services that your company offers and how they can benefit the customer. They are so versatile that they can also be used to provide your audience with helpful information, such as advice and tips. They tend to be very eye-catching. Keep it short and simple if you want to keep the viewer hooked right until the end though.

4 Reasons Videos Convert More Viewers Into Buyers

You’ve probably heard over and over again that having a video on your website can actually boost the amount of conversions you receive considerably. But you’re not sure why.

Let me explain.

1. First and foremost; a video can help people easily and quickly understand how a product or service works. Some studies suggest that people’s understanding of a product increased by 74% when a video was involved. A better understanding of the product meant that they could make a much more informed decision when purchasing.

Remember, people will tend to interpret the text that you write in a number of different ways. There is no real way to know exactly what they will be thinking when they read through what you have written; that’s because what may mean one thing to you may mean something completely different to somebody else.

If you utilize a video, then you can demonstrate exactly how your product or service works. In just a couple of minutes of watching a video, people will walk away knowing what you are all about and how you can help them.

2. In addition to this, another piece of research found that 90% of people found watching a video helpful in their purchase decision. As I mentioned before, people do not want to read through a lot of text. They want the key facts.

They want to know what they are getting themselves into before they part with their cash.

Online videos will help make it clear for them.
In the world of internet commerce, trust and credibility are absolutely everything. Sure, people are less cautious than they were in the past when it comes to making a purchase, but they still want to know that they are actually purchasing from a ‘real company’.

3. You only have a short amount of time in which to grab the attention of the online viewer. The quicker you get that information out there and get them to your call-to-action, the more sales you are going to make.

There is no quicker method for getting your sales message across than with a video. If it is interesting and actually relevant to what people are interested in, then it is likely they will watch the whole thing. With text, you will be lucky if you can get them to read past the headline, let alone the first paragraph.

4. Finally, if you are marketing your videos in the right way (this means placing them on other websites like YouTube, Facebook, and others), then potential customers will even stumble across them. If they like what they see, it is likely they will carry out further research into your company. The more research they carry out, the more familiar they become with you, and the more likely they are to become a new paying customer.
