I recently had the pleasure of designing and building this beautiful black walnut coffee table for a wonderful couple who needed a custom piece to fit perfectly in their family room. Together we determined that the tabletop needed to be 32 inches in diameter to suit the space, and they wanted it to complement other black walnut furniture in the room. They also requested a small drawer to store remotes or other small items which I carefully integrated into the design. To ensure the legs added character to the piece, I shaped them to follow the same arc as the tabletop. We also included a lower shelf to hold their book collection. This project called for some new techniques which I always welcome. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that not only serves a practical purpose but will also stand as a lasting heirloom for years to come.

I had the opportunity to work with a customer specializing in billiard supplies who needed a solution to display the hundreds of premium pool cues he sells. He wanted the display to enhance the shopping experience for his customers while showcasing the high quality of his products. I was tasked with designing and building 10 custom display racks, each capable of holding 34 cue bases. The most challenging aspect of the project was ensuring that all 340 holes were drilled perfectly aligned so the cues would stand straight and uniform. The result is a set of Oak display racks with flawless craftsmanship, now proudly showcasing his collection.

I have been busy helping restore antique pieces of furniture back to their original glory. This is a part to an antique record selector that a customer asked me to repair. It came to me with broken pieces and I was able to restore it back as good as new.
