Our Story

Norcia Fine Cabinetry was started in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee in 1997 by Mike Norcia. After learning the finer details of custom cabinetry under the tutelage of Bill Burnside at Burnside Custom Cabinets for over a decade, Mike decided to start his own custom cabinet business specializing in “Euro Style” cabinets. Over the next few years the business grew rapidly alongside the growth of our city of Chattanooga and surrounding areas. Norcia Fine Cabinetry prided itself on both craftsmanship as well as functionality, ensuring our customers had the latest designs available to them.

After surviving the tough economic times in 2008, business began to take off again and we continued to grow both our business and our passion for making the absolute best cabinetry we could for our customers. Unfortunately a fire swept through the shop and showroom in the middle of the night in 2016 and the business was a complete loss. Forced to close our doors, we took a much needed break in hopes of gaining some perspective.

Now, it’s 2020, and we are happy to say we are back and better than ever! With renewed energy and spirit we are excited to have our doors back open and producing high quality products for our customers and builders! Again, specializing in beautiful custom cabinets with doors and trim made of natural woods, but also branching out into offering more contemporary options.
