Butterfly Lady Designs

Butterfly Lady Designs was born from a love of vintage furniture and mixed media art.

Butterfly Lady Designs is all about the metamorphosis from old and worn out to fresh and functional. Primarily focused on vintage furniture, I find sturdy vintage items and give them a facelift using a variety of painting techniques. Sometimes the metamorphosis is more dramatic as I transform the original object into something completely new, such as a suitcase to a chair or a door to a halltree.

This weekend is the unofficial start of the summer season with Memorial Day on Monday May 25th. June 14th is flag day quickly followed by June teeth and 4th of July (250th year celebration). So much to celebrate in so little time. Come get your Americana on at in Snohomish.

Dairyland is open for their final weekend of the 2025 Christmas season. We are lucky to be able to re-open after the waters receded.

The u-cut lot is still under water but there are lots of beautiful pre cut trees available. Come shop local for all your last minute Christmas gifts.

Christmas at the Farm Dairyland was spared by a few feet. The long white building is the gift market and the cluster of small grey buildings adjacent house the wreath room and Santa's photo area. While we are dry, we are also inaccessible as the roads from Snohomish and Monroe are under water. Unfortunately we will be closed this weekend as it looks like Monday will be the earliest we can access the property. Please come support us for our final weekend of the season as we our last scheduled day is December 21.

P.S. The businesses behind us wasn't as lucky as the picture shows (The biggest building surrounded by water). We pray their damage is minimal.

I'm sitting on the couch with my youngest watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Feeling grateful to share this tradition with her that I shared with my mother. In other ways we are trying new things. We've ditched the turkey in favor of brisket.

However/Whenever you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you are surrounded by those you love.
