Butterfly Lady Designs Butterfly Lady Designs was born from a love of vintage furniture and mixed media art.

Butterfly Lady Designs is all about the metamorphosis from old and worn out to fresh and functional. Primarily focused on vintage furniture, I find sturdy vintage items and give them a facelift using a variety of painting techniques. Sometimes the metamorphosis is more dramatic as I transform the original object into something completely new, such as a suitcase to a chair or a door to a halltree.

Funny story....A few years ago, back when I was at Black Barrel Vintage Co, I spent Halloween day doing my Christmas change out. That evening I handed out candy as part of the downtown Trunk or Treat. Almost every time I handed out candy I accidentally wished every trick or treater a "Merry Christmas". Working in the retail world where you have to be 2-3 months ahead of the season can really mess with your head.

Today I finished my Christmas season change out in Snohomish. My Eclectic Home will reopen tomorrow fully decked out for the holidays.
