This family piece was made for children in the 80's and I was requested to restore and modernize it for a sibling. This project was fun as I was able to restore something from my clients childhood and update it for a new look. I had to add material to the center drawer, make wooden tracks and glides and replace the entire top. I used matching poplar for the top and addition and oak for the track parts for strength. With the modern hardware addition this really made the piece pop while still keeping its traditional beauty. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

This lovely maple farm table was in need of a lot of attention. Purchased by a client on marketplace, it began to split along the joints and grain and the base was falling apart. After they decided on a finish I picked it up. I separated every joint for the top and base, stripped it all down, routed and inserted oak butterflies in the underside in the joints, re-dowled and fastened the base and expanded the center railing a few inches to give the base better stability. After a week and half in the shop it's finally finished and it looks amazing. Used pre-catalyzed matte for the top and flat white for the base for durability. Is it really a job if you love what you do?

Brought in by a local of Sneads Ferry that picked it up at a yard sale. It is a Kent-Coffey tall shaker panel dresser. Educational note is that Harrold Coffey made furniture from 1907 through 2001 in Lenoir, NC bringing affordable, modern quality furniture to the American market. This piece is an early model still bearing the factory tag on the back panel and did not have the signing in the drawer brought about in the early 40's. The addition of the mirror to this piece completes its simple beauty.

Another project completed. This solid oak dresser from the late 1800's early 1900's took 4 days to completely restore (Man that rain yesterday made things tough). I hand polished the original k***s and handles and hand crafted a key for the original half mortis locks. The slight red tone finish is a custom mix and the finish is a matte post caralyzing lacquer.

I don't have many photos of this desk we picked up from a friend who was getting rid of it. I restored it for my son during lockdown so he would have his own desk to do school work. The notched top section was a cut out I carved his name on a plate and inserted in into the desk completing the personalized piece.

This antique wash table belonging to dear friends of mine came to us needing so much love. As we began the restoration the original beauty of the wash table started to be visible as we uncovered the gold leafing, which was barely visible at the start of the project. Refinishing and staining the color selected by the customer and hand painting all of the leafing back on. From repairing the broken sections of marble to having the locks reconstructed and keys made in shop we do it all.
