Why we love them: they are luxurious, no more tiny enclosures, ease of cleaning (and less mold and mildew since it is open and allows for better ventilation), accessible (great for aging in place), and is appealing to home buyers. Things to consider: adding an extractor fan (to keep steam contained), using anti-slip tile (larger area will be wet), and expense (more tile and larger glass panels can add to the investment). What do you think: yes or no?
