We're excited to share that the WA State Legislature approved our $50K request for Phase 1 of our overall restoration project for FY2027 funding! This initial project will remove and dispose of asbestos siding from the exterior of our Grange Hall and then wrap the structure with house wrap to protect it from air and water infiltration. We will submit another much larger project next January to seek FY2028 capital budget funding to finish the restoration work to replace siding, windows, roof and fix our foundation issue.

We're still accepting donations to help us upgrade the interior of our hall with our gofundme (pinned at the top of our feed). We appreciate your support.

We want to thank everyone who came to our Contra Dance on Sunday. What a fun time! Our overwhelming response means we'll be doing this event again. Especially since those who came now know how to "contra"!

Thank you Dave Ambrose, President of Netel Grange in Astoria, who was our dance instructor and caller. And members of Skamokawa Swamp Opera who provided our music.

This month's Grange Heirloom:

“Our Fraternity, being agriculturally based, family oriented and dedicated to the pure principles of equality under Constitutional Law, we appeal to all good citizens for mutual cooperation and assistance toward reform that we may remove from our midst the last vestige of inequity and corruption. We believe that harmony, equitable compromise and earnest cooperation are essential to future success.” – Grange Declaration of Purposes

Be sure to share the Grange Heirlooms with your Grange and community, to help teach what the Grange stands for.
