Krista Gordon your hutch is almost finished. 😍 a little bit of touch up and then final clear coat. This hutch has been my all time biggest challenge. Even with stain blocker and primer the old mahogany stain kept coming through and bleeding into the white causing the hutch to look pink. It took me finally painting it black and sealing it again for it to stop. In the end it turned out BEAUTIFUL

My first custom piece since closing the shop is bittersweet. I'll post it in a few weeks once the transfers arrive. Despite primer, it's already bleeding - I anticipated tannins but not the red!

Normally when I leave I say goodnight shop cya tomorrow. Tonight I said my final 👋 goodnight. While it's sad 😔 it's also a reminder of what lies ahead. I'm thankful for each and everyone of my accomplishments and failures. I've learned alot, not only about business but about friendship/relationships, heartache, struggle and perseverance. I'm ready for change and the next adventure. To all of our customers who've become friends I value you more than you will ever know. 🥰 Thank you for supporting this dream of mine 💗 creating beautiful treasures for you is why I did what I did. 😘
