I have decided to sell this beautiful antique wicker chair. I bought it (2nd time) for the porch, but it is in such amazing shape, I just can’t do it.

The story of this chair has come full circle. I bought it in the 70’s. One of the first antiques I bought. I paid by the
week until I had it paid off. It moved with me to my first apartment, first house and I rocked my babies in it and moved it to our next house. It just didn’t work with that house. My mom wanted it so we exchanged a chair that she had for the rocker.

Next came the big downsize sale. The chair was sold. It was bittersweet to see it go, but again it didn’t work with this house.

A couple of weeks ago there it was on Market Place. The new owner said she got it at an estate sale, at a big blue house on 17th street. I had to get it!!! WHAT THE HELL FOR! I have no room. Does not go with my house. It’s time for someone else to love it. $100 and it’s yours.

A Dakotahweaver project in the works - for me this time. Mike cut down the table, I replaced a few support pieces and wrapped the missing pieces. The plant stand was found on Market Place complete with the liner. Today was paint day. Gonna be darn cute on my craftsman bungalow porch. Watch for more pictures when dry and when the porch swing is refinished and hung.
