For 20+ years, wood furniture has been my life. I love wood repair and restoration of good furniture. I give an honest evaluation of the quality of the furniture. This can save a potential customer from putting good money into a piece of furniture that is not worth it. I use quality materials that have proven track records. I stand behind my work and value every good word I earn from my clients.

I get to eat meat this week! The painted/natural are Amish maple with walnut seats. Good chairs! The ones to the left are also Amish, but oak. Also excellent chairs but (to me) , not as comfortable as the others.

Here's a job that's out of the ordinary. Customer wanted the chairs to look old. Stained twice for desired effect. It took a blue wash to kill the more "orangey" color. Gray for the win!

Chairs are the most time intensive furniture there is. Glad to have these behind me.

Here's a job I did through Fine Wood Furniture (FWF). FWF added the trim around the drawers. Customer brought her own k***s. Done on oak with khaki lacquer paint and Van D**e Brown glaze. Topped with a satin lacquer.

Been a while since I made an awesome post. It may be a while more but here's a little something . This happens frequently in the furniture world. Someone orders a factory finished piece to save some money.

This one came like this. Drawers a totally different color. So, L&M Finishing to the rescue!
The light colored drawer is what came in. The dark drawers are the fixed ones. The door laying on the floor is the color they should be. The case was even messed up. Sheese!!
This is what you get when someone (or sometwos) work for a paycheck instead of "as unto the Lord".
I believe it's OK to have pride in my work as long gone as I'm giving the accolades to the one who enabled my talent and also provided the work!

It took a base coat and several tone coats. Came out pretty good if I do say so myself - lol.
