Have a seat, take a load off! Valley View sells solid wood constructed furniture. Amish-made, Amish-quality. Keep in mind - all stock is limited and ever changing. There are options to special order different fabrics and colors. Any questions? Call before you stop in! Remember - closed on Sundays.

Please note - Valley View is limited on stock and is an Amish family run business not a big box retailer. I’m a friend who used to live in Mayville but now can only visit once or twice a year. When I visit, I take a few photos and post a few things. Please don’t expect things that I’ve posted a year ago (sometimesee a few months ago) to be there or get upset with the Hostetler’s.

The store may look sparse over the next few weeks as they prepare to host a wedding!

Again, I am not the owner. My name is Bob and I became a friend of Elwin’s through his quality work. He used to build houses and he remolded my previous house. I’ve since moved and through our friendship, he has reinforced my (current) house’s family room floor. His son and he built a patio covering for me. He’s been pursuing the furniture resale business for a few years now and I would love to see him achieve his goal. It’s not easy to sell furniture.

One thing I’ve always said when it comes to the furniture store. It isn’t cheap stuff. It’s the type of stuff your parents might’ve bought 10-30 years ago, but it’s modernized. It’s quality. I bought a kitchen table from a big chain. I spent more than I would’ve at some other chains. I’ve had it for about 8 years and it’s laminate covered trash that is starting to peel off the surface. Valley View stuff is not the same. It’s real furniture. Furniture you used to know. You can’t get good furniture for cheap. You won’t get good furniture at “Paymore and Shenanigans”.

I’m always happy when I see someone like Kyle take a chance on avoiding the cheap stuff. But if you’re going to pay more, get good stuff like VVF. If you don’t go to V V F, you might as well go to a second hand store or just go to a cheap furniture store. Don’t let the “higher end” stores dupe you into severely overpaying for stuff that they say is better, when it’s no different than the cheap furniture stores.

Or, just save yourself the trouble and buy at V V F.

Imagine gifting it - and when she opens one of the drawers there’s another surprise inside? I mean, it’s a nice enough gift on its own. Just giving ideas!
