When your wife starts a community gospel choir and says "I need men"...you look at her and say, "I'm not a singer," and then she gives you "the look" so you go, "well, okay, I guess I can squeeze it into the schedule, but when are you going to teach me how to sing?" 🤣 (I don't like sharing pics of myself since my page is about my work, but she thought you'd like to see another side of me, lol.)

One of my latest projects. Started renovation on this impressive historic home. It's been vacant for awhile, but the new owner is excited to restore it to its glory days. First step is the roof, of course, and a lot of eave repairs.

Home office remodel! Right now I'm working on the exterior, which includes a new window of a different size and installing a new-to-me cladding from TimberTech. It's supposed to be amazing in terms of durability...I'll let you know what I think after I've gotten it installed. And more importantly, how my client likes it!

Another vent hood cover, another slight modification on the size for my client. I'm really pleased with this new two-piece design that makes installation way easier. It's ready to head off to New Jersey!

Just finished this vent hood cover, and I'm pretty pleased with it because most of the time the construction really makes it difficult to install the mechanical fan and ducting portions--including those I've made in the past (I know, since I'm usually the one installing, lol). So, I made some changes and came up with a design that will make install so much easier. This one just went off to its new home in Phoenix via UPS, and I have a feeling the contractor installing it is going to appreciate me. 😂

Some shots of the completed Aldridge doors (I freshened up the paint on the curved window, but it wasn't part of the job, so don't judge the bumpy paint. 😉 I cleaned up the hardware, too, but made sure not to remove all the patina--it's too cool. This was a fun project--and some of the residents (and their dogs) kept me company while I worked!
