It takes a good deal of practice, but once you get it, tape can be a great clamp that provides an even finished look without having all the clutter and messy glue squeeze out that comes with big bulky clamps! 😙🤌🏼

A couple weeks ago a woman called saying that she stripped her kitchen chairs 3 times using the same products I use recommended to her by the store I buy products from. She was frustrated and couldn’t understand why they still had finish all over them. She was doing everything right, and obviously was diligent. She could not have known that the old finish on the chair was going to be nearly as tenacious as it was. One of hers is pictured on top and the one I did is on the bottom. Experience is key! You can’t fake the results.

This is an oldie, but a goodie. And she sounded 10x as good as she looks, folks! Rebuilt action with all new factory parts, new strings, reinforced soundboard tight as a drum! That’s the good stuff!

Some progress pictures, first is the piano in the state we got it, next are a couple of pieces after having the finish stripped and wiped off, then we added some stain in the mix! Currently adding finish and making the piano look nice, so keep an eye out for more pictures coming soon 🤓 oh and there was some veneer repair done, bonus points if you can spot the patches!
