The Black Belt Alphas The Delta Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is located in historic Selma, Alabama.

The members of this chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha are dedicated to uplifiting of all mankind. We hold true to the fraternity's motto: "First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All."

61 years ago, the Voting Rights Act was signed — 5 months after Jo Ann Bland marched on the Edmund Pettus Bridge for the right to vote.
This year, the Supreme Court gutted it. Alabama went from two Black-held congressional seats to one within weeks.
