The Country Squire is known for its wonderful selection of wall décor and furniture accents, and we’ve just received a truly special piece.

This circa-1880 oil painting on wood by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas (1832–1908) captures a peaceful landscape of cows. Look closely at the rich texture—it brings the scene to life. The frame suits the period and may be original.

An impressive 80 × 65 inches, this beautiful painting is one to see in person. Visit The Country Squire and take a closer look!

A beautiful piece of local history, this cottage dresser once belonged to the Featherstones of Lewisburg and comes from the Packwood House Museum.

Dating to circa 1880, it retains its original grain-painted finish and Hudson River-style paintings on the drawer fronts. Glove boxes and a mirror add to its distinctive character.

A glimpse of the elegance found in a Lycoming County mansion during Pennsylvania’s 19th-century lumber boom.

This American walnut Eastlake-style dresser dates to the 1870s and comes from a mansion in Jersey Shore, PA. It retains its original finish and hardware and is remarkably well preserved—a beautiful piece of local history for The Country Squire.
